I’ve never gone to college, and I’m a FTM I’m looking to do online courses to get into a better career and I’m looking to do nursing or become an RN does anyone know any good online classes that I could take to become a nurse or RN? Thanks!

You can do some of the prerequisites to get into an RN program online. You can’t get a nursing degree online though. They are very heavy in lab and clinical time. You can get a 2 year associates and then do the associates to bachlors online, but the initial RN is in person.

And you do NOT need to be a CNA first AT ALL!!! I am in nursing school

I worked in a group home and was a nanny while in school then became a CNA because it’s a great idea to do. You will see things you’ve never seen and may never see again. You will never unsee anything from working at a nursing home. It’s a good start. Let’s be honest you can’t just go into nursing after working retail or something. It’s a true calling you have to know it’s what you want. That’s why I say CNA while in nursing school. Seriously

No matter what you decide to educate in, you will be required to take basic requisites (math, science, writing, etc). Absolutely take those basic classes online! Literally take them at the cheapest place possible online with your new baby and transfer them when you are ready to attend regularly for nursing.
You have any MILITARY in your background spouse, mom, dad, grandparents. LIBERTY UNIVERSITY has really good programs for military and family of military and big discount off the top for First responders and their families. You can do an entire nurseries program through Doctorate in nursing online at Liberty University. Or you could start at community college level get basics and then move to online for LPN and then RN. Canyon University in Arizona, Oral Robert’s, South Hamton, I would stay away from Phoenix, Kapalua, Miller Mont they charge to much you can’t get jobs. You can’t go anywhere after because they take to many loans and have you in debt to much.
Forget that CNA first crap…I’m an RN and never did that before and did fine.
Also…u can’t get ur RN online, u can do prerequisites and even do online to get ur bachelors AFTER RN school but becoming an RN in classroom and clinical. If u find a program that says u can…it’s not legit or not nationally recognized which will really screw u over getting a job.
