Always! My daughter uses them and they are the best all round for her.

I use thoes undies and omg life-changing

I highly recommend this site (ruby love) and the first period box. Mine was the same age and loves everything it came with and had information booklet.

We have these for my daughter

We use always with wings. They are very thin and hold alot.

I am happy with the foam pads by always.

Get her a small make up bag to hold them in. Also an extra pair of undies. Along with a lunch baggie to store her undies that had leaks on them. (For school & another in the car)

U by Kotex makes teen sized products in addition to the regular sizes. Just look on the box for “teen”

I’ve seen pics of people throwing little celebrations and that’s cute. A school emergency kit that can stay in her bag or locker! Including extra pads, underwear, and leggings or sweat pants. Get her own little heating pad to help on bad cramp days.

The flex foam ones are the most comfortable in my opinion

My daughter will be 9 in a couple of months and I am NOT ready for this step

One with wings is best and they hold a lot. Periods can be quite negative so try make it a real positive even if it means you have to pretend to wear a pad to at times!

A emergency kit can never go wrong either, spare pants, extra pads, some chocolate ( wee all need our treat at that time) and even a wee affirmation for her to look at. if needed painkillers in school for her, I suffered so bad with periods in school and had to go to nurse every month so always helpful to have that left over if needed!

Check into period underwear. She may feel more comfortable in them

I just picked these up for my 10 yo it’s the smallest size option she has these little undies u can’t attach a big ole pad too.

You can buy special pads for young teens. They’re just as absorbent but the pads are a better fit.

They make several different types for teens/tweens
Mine uses these/the ones that say teen on them. Also, if your daughter wears a size 10 or higher in girls underwear, they can also wear a xs in women’s underwear which pads fit better in.

This is what my daughter uses

I can’t help much with pads, my daughter has physically disabled and special needs, do pads didn’t work for her, BUT period panties were a GAME CHANGER! she loves them cause they feel like regular underwear, we haven’t had any trouble with them leaking, and she says they are comfortable

What!!?? Baby girls have periods at 9, 10 years old??? I was 16!! What’s happened?? Is this normal now??

Period underwear is what I bought my daughter for when she begins her cycle. She has sensory processing disorder so I didn’t think she would like wearing pads
