Does anyone know a good place to try to refinance an auto loan through? We got our vehicle last year but pay almost $1,000/month due to interest and we were told that they could refinance their own loans so I called and she said they only reevaluate to see about a lower interest rate but the monthly payment would remain the same regardless so thay defeats the purpose. We purchased the vehicle last March and since we’ve had it around a year I just wanted to explore some options regarding refinancing to see if we could save $100-200/month or something. Anyone have any suggestions?
We have refinanced an auto loan through our local credit union, and so have family members. Both loans from outside entities and through the credit union themselves. Pretty much every time we have done it have resulted in adjustments to the payments along with the interest rates.
Home equity, or credit lines with home. Usually these have better terms. Also see if they let you buy down interest on notes like mortgage could reduce by 1 or 1.5 %. Becareful shopping rates if they run your credit it takes points of your score.
