No sunscreen if possible before 6 month. Otherwise avoid direct sunlight during peak hours 10a-2p and sun clothes. Hat, shirt, shorts. Keep cool spritz a water bottle . Stay in the shade
I’ve always used this with no issues
Winter clothes and a hat.
Aloe vera for a burn. Sun screen water babies is what I use
Sunscreen and a shade cover
Mom used white Zink cream on us …old days…it was like that white diaper cream…it did work
Cover up, keep in shade
I would just not hang out outside much when it’s super sunny. It makes for a boring summer, but way better than having a sunburnt 3 month old
Don’t take in the sun
At three months, I wouldn’t risk it
I put diaper cream all.over my 3 mo old the other day, because constant shade wasnt much of an option, and its active ingredient is zinc. No sunburn for babe! Mama om the other hand…
Being in the sun isn’t safe for babies until 6 months.
Thin clothes that cover their skin a hat, and LOTS OF SHADE.
Long sleeves & a floppy hat.
You can use mineral sunscreen. It doesn’t have the chemicals other sunscreens have. I love the Hello Bello brand. It smells like fruit loops
Why do this to your baby? Keep her inside or get a sitter
I still put sun screen on. Try a little on a small area and if they don’t react then you’re fine
I have always used baby sunscreen on babies even when they were younger then 6 months. Their Dr said it was fine
My babies pedestrian said ABSOLUTELY NO SUNSCREEN BEFORE 6 MONTHS! As parents most of us have been in this position. One summer of indoor activities keeps baby safe
My Dr said using it occasionally was fine. No more than 2x in a 7-10 day span and to only use one that as natural as I could get.
I still used a big hat and umbrella.
You can use Baby sunblock then add a hat, shade or umbrella.
I also live in Florida so your never out or away from the heat and sun. Our doctor’s tell us to use sunscreen.
Says if the sun’s unavoidable to do it. And theirs some good tips in that article. The only reason to avoid is delicate skin could have a reaction… Maybe test a small area on her leg a day before you plan to go
The reaction to sunscreen isn’t the problem. A child that isn’t age appropriate absorbs the sunscreen differently.
I would try to keep them shaded, use a bucket hat, take them in for breaks. They make the little rash guard shirts that could help protect them from the sun.
Keeping in the shade won’t completely protect them the sun as you still get sun exposure. The best thing is going in for breaks.
They make sun clothes! I took care of a child who couldn’t use sunscreen and she wore one of these type shirts and she was fine, didn’t sweat more or anything because of it!

The point of NO SUNSCREEN is because babies don’t need to be out in the heat and sun that young. They don’t sweat and cool themselves effectively and don’t enjoy the sun or working on their tan… A little bit of mineral sunscreen on small area here and there is fine but… Babies less than 6 months shouldn’t need it since you shouldn’t take them out in heat/sun during peak times of the day. They should also be dressed in light colored light clothing with hats etc even if just going for a walk.
Definitely at light bonnet to cover head
Swim shirts and sun hats! Only use sunscreen when absolutely necessary always.
I used organic baby sunscreen shade hat and umbrella she was and is fine. there is no way I’m keeping a baby inside for a year
Don’t take in the sun
