Birthday party food ideas?

Hey guys, delete if not allowed but I have a question. My daughter’s first birthday is coming up and it’s gonna be the hey bear sensory theme. Well, my question is what would you have for food?

Depends on how you are doing the party.

Hambugers & hotdogs
Pizza
Veggie tray
Fruit bowl
Chips & dip
Drinks

My daughter has a summer birthday, so we’ve done outdoor parties at home with burgers and such on the grill, otherwise we usually just do pizza. Anything “cheap” that can easily feed however many people you expect.

Taco bar sounds awesome……soft and hard shells along with snack size bags of Doritos for “walking tacos” crockpots of meat and all the toppings, maybe a side of rice and an appetizer of nachos and cheese!
Happy Birthday!

If you go with tacos do walking tacos. And one pound of meat feeds about 4 people. Depends how much meat you want and how old the children are. I would do about 15 pounds to be sure.

about the same cost maybe… unless you’re ordering 5 buck pizzas, but for 30 people you’ll need at least 10 of those… a couple slices for everyone. Tacos? You need tortillas, and your own home cooked meat, prob 1/3 a pound per person… and toppings. About 10 lb of meat for 30 = about the same cost… and whatever toppings you want, fortunately some of the toppings are cheap. American or authentic? Cilantro or lettuce? a big container of creama or sour cream, cheeses, sauces etc. maybe 2-3 tacos per person, obviously kids are going to eat less.

It’ll be 15 lbs for taco meat

We do taco bars often. You can fit about 5lb of ground beef in a large crock pot. And that usually lasts with some left for about 20 people… so maybe 4lb of each?

We did walking tacos last year for my daughter’s birthday. I bought a big box of the Doritos from Costco and did about 5 lbs of hamburger meat. I spent about $70 on food. It was well worth it
