It’s just to have a full bladder at the start of the scan so the sonographer can see the bladder opposed to the uterus. No restrictions. You will then be asked to have a wee most likely
I drank and ate whatever I want before an ultrasound, never an issue 
Pfft I had a litre of chocolate milk each trip and it worked fine.
