Can I see your custom Walmart cakes?

Show me your custom Walmart cakes!! My daughter’s birthday is in 3 weeks and I want to see if Walmart is worth the price.

Widely depends on the decorator. One Walmart Bakery’s masterpiece is another bakery’s preschool project.

For us it matters how it tastes… we bought one from kroger one year, did a remarkable job with decorating the cake but it was so dry, it crumbled apart, it never got ate, it was that bad tasting plus it cost quite a bit. I want a great tasting cake…that will get ate

My local store hyvee has the best compared to Walmart lol

I personally prefer small, local bakeries to WalMart or Kroger cakes. :woman_shrugging:t2: We have a local bakery that i use for all my cakes. It’s a little pricier than what you’d pay at the grocery store, but totally worth it. This is the Death Star cake she did a few years ago for my oldests birthday. The Death Star is all cake and it’s all hand piped with icing she makes herself. Not a bit of fondant and no cheap plastic toys. I paid around $70 for this cake and it was a double layered half sheet cake.

Definitely check out some of your local bakeries before ordering from Walmart!
