Is children and youth allowed to go to your child’s school and talk to them without you knowing or being present? Child is 6.

What do you mean about children & youth, as in other kids & teens talking to your child?

I worked for DCF in Kansas before and they are allowed to talk to children without permission for abuse allegations. If it was for a family in need (like kids having chronic lice) they need parent permission first. The reason is because parents may try to coach their child what to say.

Absolutely , they have a 3 Rd person in with them, such as a counselor

If your child has a birth certificate and social, they belong to the state/government. So yeah, they do what they want.
Yes especially if it’s about allegations of child abuse.

Absolutely. The staff at the school are all mandated reporters, so if staff at the school deemed it necessary to contact CPS, they have every right to visit your child and speak with the staff who made the report and your child. You’re definitely focusing on the wrong things though, if CPS got involved you should be trying to cooperate with them, not fight with them or tell them they’re not allowed to do this or that bc it’ll definitely make your interactions with them much worse.
