Can you get pregnant on birth control?

So I am on birth control and I feel like I’m having some pregnancy symptoms. I’ve taken test after test, every one has been negative. I’ve been trying to forget about it but my mind is still screaming that I am… I’ve noticed that I have been bloated feeling and today I started spotting. Am I reading too much into things? I’ve heard that birth control can affect the at home tests too. Has anyone else heard that? I feel like I’m going crazy.

Birth control will give you symptoms like pregnancy. If the tests are negative you aren’t pregnant.

I was on birth control with my daughter and had a period for 2 months while pregnant. You may want to try going to the doc and having a blood test done

Pms symptoms mimick pregnancy symptoms. They are almost identical. Including nausea and cravings. If the tests are negative, you most likely arent pregnant. But you can always get blood work to make sure.

Birth control literally tricks your body into thinking it’s pregnant so you do not release an egg. Side effects are mild pregnancy symptoms

Sometimes birth control symptoms, can emulate pregnancy

I got pregnant on the pill, even after being told i couldn’t have kids naturally. But I will say my iud gives me pregnancy symptoms every few months. I usually wait a week and see if they subside, if not call your dr

If you’re that worried or convinced, go to the clinic.

How long have you been on bc? That can make you bloat and have similar symptoms.

Birth control is ment to tell your body your already pregnant so you dont ovulate… Thats why your having symptoms…

I got pregnant with a mirena in and I kept telling myself it was side effects of my bc when I found out I was 17 weeks

If you’re that concerned, go to the doctor and get a blood test

It’s the birthcontrol

I had pregnancy symptoms on the depo but tests turned out negative.

Are you taking any antibiotics for any reason? Did you just start taking the pill?

Ive had that feeling twice on the pill, even took a test and it was negative. Then i would get my period and i would feel normal, other than my cysts.

Birth control literally makes your body think its pregnant so you dont ovulate an egg to be fertilized.

I always felt like I was pregnant on birth control, especially on the IUD. Sore boobs, could smell everything, nausea…and wouldn’t get periods some months. Never did get pregnant on it though

Its the birth control. Im like that every month even knowing i dont get my period every month, ill be freaking out cuz im late :joy::joy::joy:

Go to Dr and get a blood test.

If you want an accurate answer go get your blood work done to see about hcg levels.
