Can you get pregnant on the depo shot?

how many mommas have gotten pregnant on depo shot?

I have had my period two times and I am 8 months P.P,I’ve had light spottings here and there that only last a day or two,but nothing major for the past month and a half.
the past week or two I’ve had nausea and other pregnancy like symptoms am I going crazy should I buy a test what has been your experience?

I get used to medication quickly so they have to update or change doses for it to continue working.

I wouldn’t be fully against being pregnant right now,it just wasn’t planned and we were using protection and depo shots.

I will add my first child was a “pill baby”, conceived her while on protection.

Never had my period on the depo shot and I had the depo shot for 3 years? No pregnancy eithet.

Depo almost instantly stopped my period when I first started it. I spotted a little like you said after have a period or 2 and then nothing at all. If you need reassurance then it’s not going to hurt to get a test. Not gonna lie, I did take a test a few times, but I never got pregnant while on depo. I just had symptoms similar to yours.

I would get a test to be on the safe side. I know a few different ppl that got pregnant on it.

Never pregnant while on it serious weight gain though

I bled for the whole 6 months i was on depo. My hair fell out and i felt sick all the time and broke out in rashes. Talk to your Dr because depo just might not be right or good for your body.

I got the depo shot 2x and NEVER got a period again i was 37

I had all kinds of pregnancy symptoms randomly when i was on it. I was so convinced that i actually started feeling rolling kicks like a baby was scraping its foot across my insides haha. But i wasnt, but it is possible.

No harm in getting a test. I just got started back on the depo and plan to buy a few tests to periodically check since no birth control is :100: percent effective.
