Can you reuse bottles?

Can you/should you use the same bottles again for a second/third child? I used a few bottles again for my second (with new nipples) but is that gross? I’m debating whether or not to buy new bottles for my 3rd who’s due in January.

I replaced bottles 3x with just 1 child. But i get grossed out easily

My mom used the same bottles for 4 of us

I used old bottles washed out really good sterilized and new nipples

I used the same bottles for both of my kids. I just bought new nipples.

When they’re older they’re gonna use the same cups. Thats ok. This is fine.

I did, I just replaced the teats. Bottles where as good as new because of how I wash them (no dishwasher) just very hot soapy water kept them in great shape

If you wash and sterilize no problem.you use the same dishes for decades, you can with the same canning jars.even coke reuses ther bottles - ever drink a coke from Mexico? That bottle has been reused

I guess that might depend on the quality of the bottles I myself preferred the drop-ins and the glass bottles

If they are in good condition I do not see the problem

If properly cleaned just buy new nipples. That’s not gross at all.

If you sterilize them , it will be fine! Just replace the nipples . Don’t reuse those !

All you need to replace is the nipple and then sterilize the bottled

As long as the bottle is in good condition and you replace nipples I don’t see the problem in using them for more than one child

Seems less gross to me to share a sterilized bottle with my older sibling than eating at a restaurant where 100 other people probably ate off the plates and cups.yet we all do that.if the bottles are in good shape pass them down.save your money for diapers and things the older babies will need.

Of course it’s fine.
Yes replacing nipples is important because they can break down over time and fall apart becoming a choking hazard. But the bottles are fine.

Well do u use the same cups as anyone else who drinks something’s in your house? Same difference!
