so i have a question, is it true that you can’t put blankets in a babies bed to help keep warm ?
I mean ofcourse you can.
It just goes against safe sleep recommendations.
Yes but just watch out for overheating. Babies cannot regulate their own body temperatures until 9-12 months.
It depends on age. If they are under a year I absolutely would not. They may accidentally pull it over their heads and possibly suffocat3 since they can’t pull it back down.
You should never put blankets, toys, etc in a baby’s bed if they are under 1. I know more than one baby that has suffocated and died that way.
A sleep sack and a sleeper is plenty to keep baby warm.
Get one of the wearable sleep sacks! They are great
You know what , i have 4 kids , and every one i wrapped in blankets to sleep , all of them are grown , they survived, sure suffication happens , but i have also seen sids with no blankets. , if you checking on baby on regular basis use a dam blanket . it as ridiculous as not putting baby on belly to sleep. If watched closely theyvwill be fine .
I have 4 kids they all had blankets since birth
I swaddled until they are able to roll and then sleep sacks, and he’s always warm when I unzip him in the morning.
I’ve 5 kids and baby on way
I’ve used blankets with all. This one I have a swaddle but my kids never liked been swaddled. My babies have always been hungry though so not in the blanket long before up fed lol
The blanket sleepers are really nice
