Has anyone had any similar experiences with getting off depo provera bc? when on it i was having periods that lasted a month and id have 2weeks of no bleeding then back at it for another month so i decided to not get my next shot which was due in december. had my last period from jan 11th to the15th and today feb 19th i am finally having what i think is my period? its very little on and off bleeding. my so and i have been using protection always so i kinda hope thats been working lol. when did your periods get back to normal?

Depo knocked mine out completely when on it. Took like a year to get back to normal
I was on it for 4 years straight, no period. Stopped it and I never got normal for 2 years almost, I had to take the pill to get regulated.
I stopped getting it for the same reason, month long periods then a couple weeks of nothing. It took awhile for them to get back go normal.
It took my sister 2 years.
I had no period while on it and when I decided to quit taking it because me and my husband decided we wanted to start ttc mine went straight back to normal. I got my period 2 weeks after my missed shot and they were lighter and shorter than what they were before i got the shot and completely normal every month. I really liked it other than taking 2 1/2 years to get pregnant after being on it for 2 years
My girls stopped totally and when they went off it came normal. Maybe you are different you should check with your doctor something may or may not be right a moment simple fix. If you wait worry will get the best of you. Why worry when you are just stressed because it is not the same as when you were on the shot.
