Yes you can bring yours with you to the hospital, if not they will usually supply you with a pump. But I started pumping about a hr after I gave birth. But every woman is different. :slight_smile:

Most hospitals have pumps but takes them a bit to get u one and they suck lolā€¦ u start pumping as soon as u can after delivery

When I recently gave birth, I was told not to bring mine, that the hospital will provide along with all supplies. Ask the question when you tour the hospital or call to verify. Normally they will try to get your baby to latch on and you nurse him/her right away. If it doesnā€™t work out that way, a nurse will advise you when to start pumping and walk you through everything.

The hospital will provide u one

While your in the hospital you wonā€™t have milk, and pumping so soon can cause over supply. It is recommended to wait til about two weeks to start pumping if you are having a normal supply in the beginning

Go head Faithā€¦sharing that knowledgeā€‹:joy::joy:

I didnā€™t. My son didnā€™t give me enough time to pump. He ate every 2 hours on the dot.

I waited till I got home from the hospital
