If you had a membrane sweep, does it hurt? I am going to have one soon, (39 weeks) and I am freaking out that itll be painful…
Pain is subjective. I had 2 done and for me the first one was uncomfortable and the 2nd one hurt and was deeply uncomfortable but it was the one that sent me to the hospital leaking amniotic fluid later on in the day.
I had one done, like many women desperately hoping it would induce labor but no such luck for me. I won’t ever get one done again, mine was incredibly painful.
Honestly at this point friend nothing is going to be comfortable from this point out. I begged for something to be done and this helped my labor for sure begin
Yes it really hurts, and mine did not trigger labor. I had to get admitted and go through the whole lot
