We flush every time but our toilet is also connected to the Jo jo tank so we safe on the water bill

Your water bill may be connected to your sewer usage so it’s a way to save water and expense. It might be OK if you live in an area with a drought or by the water. I know a guy with well water and old toilets and plumbing who does this to save on repairs but the house is usually guys only with no TP required for #1, so there’s that.
I always flush, and would do so if company was expected even if I didn’t though. You can buy bidets, bidet attachments for regular toilets, and those with dual flush buttons that can offer solutions too.
What’s your husband’s reasoning for not flushing? When my parents went to the Bahamas for their honeymoon in the early 1950s there were signs in the bathrooms: “In the islands of the sun, do not flush for number one.” Seaside plumbing can be finicky.

Depends on how you feel about reducing water consumption and waste. If everyone is drinking plenty of water and well hydrated then it’s fine to let the pee stay for a short while to let it collect more. But, I live in a house of 5 so it doesn’t sit around long before it gets added too. I do want to conserve water use and waste but I don’t want urine sitting around for days either. Toilets get flushed regularly here often enough that it doesn’t sit around very long. Most of us flush immediately after use out of habit anyway so I have to encourage less flushing.

I live in a small 2 bedroom house the bathroom is directly in-between my bedroom where myself, partner and 8 month old son sleeps, and opposite my bedroom is my 8 year old daughters bedroom. At night time, we do not flush pee just out of consideration for people sleeping as the flush seems very loud at night.

Funny thing about that I think it depends on where you live and if you own or rent your home. I grew up in the city and have lived in rented apartments most of my life so my family always flushed. I know people who own property in the country that don’t flush pee.

We flush everytime except in the middle of the night bc the toilet wakes up the babies.
I know some people who don’t flush if it’s pee and use the garbage for wiping pee. Cuts down the water bill. We used to do this at the courage where it was a septic tank so it didn’t fill with toilet paper and pee.

Yes, or the toilet will get nasty faster
If you let urine sit in your toilet the calcium in your urine will eat away at your doughnut and you’ll end up with a leaky toilet that being said we flush when I flush I have small children

I could never pee on top of someone else’s pee especially after it has sat for hours. Ew. Ew. Ew. 
I don’t think men realize sometimes it splashes because they are farther away from it.
Pee even leaves a residue that can stain, so yes i flush every time.

I do except at night. I get up to go almost ever hour it’s pointless then too.
If my 2 daughters and I all need to use the toilet then we all pee and then do one big flush. Any other time it’s every single time.
