If your kids have birthdays close to the holidays, do you do anything to make their birthday more separate? Like a belated party, extra intentional about wrapping paper/decorations, etc?
Always! My son’s birthday is 10 days before Christmas and I go out of my way to make it special. He just turned 5 so he doesn’t know the difference now but he will and I don’t want him to feel cheated by combining his day with Christmas.
