Do you wake your babies at night to eat?

Mom’s! Are we waking our babies to eat at night or letting them wake us? My baby girl is 2 weeks. With my first I woke her for the first month & then stopped. My babies love their sleep lol

Let them sleep, my daughter was born at 35 weeks and was a little under 6 lbs, the dr advised to let her sleep that she’d wake up if she was hungry

I let my baby wake me and he’s 8 days old

I woke up my light weight until he got chunky then I let him sleep if he so chose. My chunkier at birth had to stay in the hospital longer so I bf and formula fed to bring her weight up to go home. She started sleeping through the night once we got home so we let her be.

Let them sleep and pump if engorged.

I’ve had 3 babies. I never woke my babies. My ex did with my middle. He tried telling me it was necessary because his ex did with their son. She had a difficult time sleeping. She was 4 waking up every few hours because she trained that way. My boys were never woken up & slept great.

I was told to wake and feed until he reached his birth weight. After that just let him sleep.

As long as baby is eating fine during the day and not struggling with weight gain. I would and did let them sleep

Yes, I was waking my baby. I was feeding her every 3 hours for the first 2-3 months. She was also really tiny tho.

I let mine sleep. They’ll wake up when they’re hungry

I left them sleep unless it woke up engorged from nursing then maybe otherwise leave them after the first few weeks

Our pediatrician told us that as long as baby has passed birth weight we can let our baby sleep. She is a month old now and she still wakes up in the middle of the night.

Unless your child is showing weight loss or malnutrition, let.them.sleep.

My baby was a really good sleeper in her first month, she would sleep for 10 hours straight at night if I let her. So I woke her at least once a night to feed her.
