It can and it can’t, studies show it can but just depends on you as a person I think and how your body reacts to certain contraception, I’ve had implant and pill and found I gained a few pounds with the implant but the pill I maintained the same x

I meaaaan it can, but being pregnant will a whole lot more :sweat_smile::sweat_smile:

Injection and iud did for me. Pills did not

It’s different for everyone. No one is the same. It either can or wont effect you there isn’t really a right or wrong answer. x

It’s different for everyone, I didn’t gain any weight but when people are looking to start using birth control I will always say you won’t know how it affects you until you try it. If you start taking the pill and you don’t like the effects then you can stop and try other routes as there are so many different ones to try and see what works for you personally

But no birth control sure will…

I haven’t gained any weight from it personally and I am usually affected by everything in hormone based medicine

Yes! I had the implant fitted in June and gained 2 stone! It’s out now thankfully :grimacing:

Not as much as pregnancy lol

It can and it can’t depending on the person

Not as much as not taking birth control will :stuck_out_tongue:

The injection did for me… I have the copper coil now, so no hormones :relaxed:

I had the copper coil no side effects and no weight gain! :woman_shrugging:t3:

Birth control does not make you gain weight! Yes it does makes you crave (not everyone), but that’s on how you managed you own diet!
