Sounds strange. But to each his own.
Don’t eat it, but pepper is just a seasoning really.
So season the bum off it 
A splash of pepper brings out the sweetness in many dishes you wouldn’t think. I put pepper in sugar for strawberry dipping

Yes it’s strange but if you like it, do it!! My beloved uncle put salt and pepper on oranges and watermelon! I.loved him in.spite of it! Lol!! Be happy, live your life, honey!.

Well maybe it’s strange to you, but whoever you saw put pepper on French toast must like it so it’s not strange to them. I wouldn’t put it on mine, I prefer cinnamon. However, if I sprinkle some on the eggs nearby and it touches my toast, I’m not freaking out about it. People eat all manner of weird things because they like it.
