Does anyone know anything about “trigger thumb” did your child just grow out of it? Did the Cortizone shot work? Or did your child need surgery?

My daughter had a trigger thumb and she had it operated on when she was 2 years old. She managed to take the bandage off and remove the stitches herself. So she had a second operation when she was 3 and they put a full cast on it.

My husband has it and has to wear a splint. As of right now no surgery. Feels better when wearing the split, and pretty tender with it off.
