What’s your favorite toddler pajamas (that don’t break the bank)? My 20 month old is normally in 2t clothes can barely wear the 3t tops of pajamas because of the “snug fit” and her little arms will barely fit through them. We tried putting a pair of 3t on her last night and as she put her arm in the first sleeve she said “OH NO!!” Because it was so tight she couldn’t even get her hand through the hole. I feel like if I buy 4ts they will likely be too big in the pants and fall off her. Not a fan of night gowns to avoid this issue.
We are switching the bamboo. They are a little pricy up front, but you can get a good 6 months out of them at minimum. Definitely worth the price & they are stretchy & comfortable!
I get mix and match for my kiddo. He gets a 3t top and 4t bottoms, rather than buying sets.
I totally agree with you about the snug fit being way too tight on their little arm fat rolls. I always try to find loos fitting ones at tj max or Burlington
I’ve started shopping at tj maxx for a couple pairs of pjs for my kids cause even though they look snig fit they are a very stretchy very soft polyester material that is light as well . You may have to go a couple time and look but they seem to really be popular around holiday pj time for halloween and christmas thats the only pjs that will fit my son unless i want him in pj shorts and a random shirt🤷♀️
I like them from old navy and children’s place
Not sure why your not a fan of nightgowns but I had my daughter wear shorts under hers nothing bad we just raised her modest around men and boys but they may be a good option for her
I always bought PJs 2 sizes bigger. They run small and always shrink
Free Birdees has really soft bamboo pajamas. I like GAP pajamas too.
After 2T we just switched to soft shorts/joggers and a tshirt
Why not try something like Once Upon a Child? This way, you can piece different sizes together and see which brands fit best for future reference.
Try short sleeve pjs or flannel pjs they are usually bigger
I hate snug fit jammies. Honestly I just go to Walmart and buy comfy shorts/pants and plain tshirts in garanimals brand.
Buy a pack of toddler white tshirts and use with the bottoms you have.
Download the TEMU app , they have a ton of variety in baby / toddlers pjs , they are super cute, great quality and very very cheap
I like costcos pjs. They’re good material, sometimes come in a double pack, fit good
My granddaughter is tall and slim. Her mom buys pjs so the tops fit, but then the bottoms are way too big at the waist. I sew in a couple of darts that can easily be taken out as she grows and you still have a matched set of pjs.
Boys ones. It was the only solution we found as the girl’s ones were just so narrow. Longer term, I was lucky that mine loved nighties and that my SIL sent Belgian ones which fit perfectly.
Get her done nightgowns. 2 sizes bigger!!! Get her some size 6 nightgowns. Or kohls size 6. Carters run way small!
Ours sleeps in a t-shirt and sweat pants
Stick to bamboo brands like Bums & Roses
