We are having a birthday party for my daughter on Saturday (she’s turning 4 tomorrow) What are some good ideas/things to put in the goodie bags. I just don’t want to all candy in them. So I’m looking for other ideas
I used to include a bag of chips, juice box or pouch, snack cookies, mini bubbles, jewelry for girls, shades for boys. I would usually get all these items at Dollar General and could by enough to make a out 30 bags for around $40 or less depending on the brand of items bought.
Bubbles, stickers, fake tattoos, sidewalk chalk, or mini play dough. At Wal-Mart, in the party section, they have an assortment of bags to fill piñatas with. One of them is toys. I got that for my son’s party last year. It had stamps, mini slinkies, and a few other things. There were like 10 of each item, and they came in various colors.
Go to Walmart, if you have one. In the party section around the birthday cards, they have all kinds of party favors.
I did little compostable cartons with some dirt and wildflower seeds. I hate cheap plastic toys.
I don’t do bags just something like special cookies that commemorate the day and that they can eat so
I stopped preparing goody bags years ago. I get a piñata and they fill their bags with the candy etc. from the piñata once it’s broken.
Last birthday I had the favor bag consisted of a color changing pen, notebook, a squishy, a mini pop it & some Reese’s peanut butter cups. I just went with what she likes.
I also like to go by the theme. For example if it’s an American girl or teddy bear theme a plain teddy/doll sized t-shirt & markers would be great.
Bubbles, raisins, crayons, mini colouring books
Dollar store has alot of little outdoor options! Even little potting seeds my daughter loves watching a flower grow lol
Barrettes, small bouncy balls, mini stamps, mini slinky’s.
For my daughters 8th birthday we did goody bags with crazy straws ,a couple pieces of birthday cake kisses pencils stencils, bubbles, plastic glasses just some small little things
I just buy an assortment from the dollar tree. I dump it all out on a table with a basket of empty goodie bags, and have the kids make their own while we wait for everyone to get there
Pop-its, sidewalk chalk, water balloons
The tiny play doh containers are perfect for that as well as crayons, stickers, tic tac toe kits. Home goods even has very inexpensive cardboard figures that they can build in a few minutes and play with
My kids have winter birthdays so I always put stickers, yoyo’s, coloring book and crayons and a few pieces of candy.
Bubbles, small squirt guns (you can get them cheap at like the dollar tree), noise makers (lol), Capri sun’s
