Hello mamas! Looking for some ideas on a Halloween baby shower! I find out my gender in a few days (made me wait longer due to dr being booked so far out) but I’m having preterm labor already so early, my son was preterm so im sure this baby will be as well, having contractions & lost my mucus plug 4 weeks earlier than when I did with my son, so taking precautions & going to have my baby shower early like I did with my son. BUT I need ideas , if it’s a girl or a boy I want to do the theme based off a Halloween kids movie but not sure.

That sounds fun. Here’s a few ideas for games, invitation, foods. You can always do it in blues and pinks and do guess the gender?. X
How about “I’m going to be a Mummy!” With mummy themed food, TP “mummification” wrapping of you, or one or more guests, one of those games where you pass bowls of things under the table like “eyeballs,” (grapes), or “fingers,” (carrots), etc. The last one can be a ribbon to guess if it’s pink or blue which is revealed by the last person to hold the bowl with the ribbon or whatever.
These gender reveal parties are absolutely appalling ridiculous.
What if something happened and the baby was born dead and believe me it sure does happen. How would you feel then. People should just wait and see what they have when the baby is born healthy and be thankful instead of all this rubbish.
Have a party then at the Christening or Naming ceremony.

If you want it based of a kids Halloween movie… some movies are HalloweenTown, Hocus Pocus, Casper, Coraline, Nightmare before Christmas.
