Hey mamas! I’m 19 weeks with m second boy, I’ll be 21 weeks at my next appointment. Dr’s told me they’ll be doing a cervical length exam and I was curious if anyone knows or has been through it? I just wanna be prepared and know exactly what’s gonna happen lol. I went into spontaneous preterm labor 3 times with my last pregnancy that’s why they wanna check.
If babies head isn’t engaged they’ll be able to see any funnelling on a standard ultrasound, otherwise they’ll do an internal scan.
Why did you not ask your doctor?
