I wouldn’t risk it… I had an abruption and almost didn’t make it…
My first was c section. Had 3 vaginally after that. No complications!!!
My daughter n law did. Have to have a doctor who. Is experienced and will do a v back
Trust your docs they know what type incision made, face book no medical authority or over 12 yrs of medical education and hands on experience!
I’ve had 2 v-backs both went smoothly
1st and 3rd natural 2 was c- section. Had no issues!
I had a successful vbac 7 years after!!
You do6need to make a decision right away do you? Think about it and let your doctor know when you have a solid decision
I’m also planning a vbac this time and my doctor said I could as long as no other issues arise. They didn’t give me a weight gain amount. Just said as long as no one is distressed it should be fine. They are concerned since it’s twins but they feel optimistic. So I hope it all works out for you and I both. I’m also nervous. A friend of mine had a vbac and it worked great for her.
Was your C section incision horizontal or vertical?
Had a set of twins via c-section. 16 months later had a Vbac.
Super fast delivery with her…6 hrs.
I pray God helps you deliver safely in any option you choose.
My daughter had a C-section for one of her babies but she delivered normally after that
I had a VBAC!
2 natural, 2 c-sections, and my vac
My daughter did. Everything was fine for her and baby
29 years ago emergency c section , 28 years ago all natural vaginal
birth. Go natural!!!
Yes I did third child. Awesome!
If you’ve had a c section, chances are you’ll have your baby that way again
Go for a repeat c- section. I am a retired L&D nurse, talk with your Dr.
I had a c-section with my first and went on to have 4 successful vbacs
My first child was c-sec followed by 2 v-bacs then a c-sec again
I had a C-section with my 1st and then 3 Vbacs. No problems.
My first was a c-section and second a vaginally and so was my sister’s
Yes I did 40 years ago no problems
Please take your advice from your doctor.
Yes…just 15 months later.
Daughter had c section followed by four vbacs.
Hated the C-section. Three vaginal before; three after.
My sister in law gave birth 3 times naturally after a c section
My mom did and was just fine.
Mines was the opposite
Man you never know what youre going to get. My first vaginal pretty simple. The second took me over a month to recover from. The third i had csection and it was only a few days and i was good. Im 100% goinf csection if i have another.
my sister had 2 vaginals after a c section no problems
No and I wouldn’t want to
Had a c section 2 vbacs then another c section go with what your heart says
I had a very successful VBAC. My first was vaginal and my second was c-section due to him being breach. I did not have any complications my third who was the vbac. For recovery purposes, I highly recommend it!
I’ve experienced both vaginal and csection deliveries as well. I’m now pregnant with my 3rd baby, after just having given birth to my second baby in February of this year. Yes, we got pregnant less than two months after birth. I blame quarantine. Lol. Anyways… my first son was born vaginally at 39 weeks, he weighed 9lbs 4oz. I tore horribly, and bled a lot. The recovery from that tear took months, and was so painful. This February with my second son, I developed preeclampsia, and had to have an emergency csection at 36 weeks. Thankfully, though early, he weighed 8lbs 14oz, and didn’t require anytime in the NICU. The surgery in and of itself wasn’t bad, other than the fear and mental hurdle you have to cope with knowing that you’re cut open on a table, and totally aware. It was harder on me mentally than physically, maybe because it came as a shock late one night, and we didn’t go to the hospital thinking we would have having our boy that night. I did develop an infection in my uterus a month after surgery, that required a few days on antibiotics in the hospital. All that said, I will be having another csection with my current baby. I am less afraid of repeating the csection than I would be having to do another vaginal birth. The risks, and the possibility of tearing scare me more. I would rather a csection any day over that pain.
My friend’s first was c-sec. At full term on her 2nd child her uterus ruptured. She was not in labor. The sweet Baby did not survive. Luckily she did.
I had a csection with my 2nd
I had 2successful VBAC deliveries
First, vaginal 33 hours. My body hated me.
Second, c-section because he flipped breach while being induced due to his heart eating dropping.
Third, successful vbac. 13 hours, absolutely glorious birth.
Fourth, asshole doctor that pressured me for c section because there was “no way a vbac was possible” I put my foot down and he sabatoged my induction. Broke my water at 2cm and then floored the pitocin causing his heart rate to drop for hours before ending in c section.
With a doctor that supports v bacs I think you’ll do great. Trust your body but know you’re not in the wrong if anything happens to where you end in another c section. You tried.
I had 1 c section and 2 natural births. Everything went fine (I would say great…
But it is birth we are talking about ) lol
I had an emergency csection with my first and vaginal with my second. Recovery was so much easier vaginally. I would definitely try for a vaginal first. A c section is considered a major surgery and also has a list of possible complications
I understand that C recoveries are hard. Don’t get scared, you will be fine!
I had a VBAC 2-1/2 years after c-section and it went great with no complications. With the next baby however he was measuring big so my Dr wouldn’t let me and it was a good thing because he was 9-lb 12-oz at 39 weeks so I glad he said I needed c-section for #4.
Just had my 3rd naturally 7 weeks ago, after a natural and then c section. Easiest delivery and recovery of the 3 & leaps and bounds better than the csection!
I know the recovery of a c section is awful but remember they cut through all thoes muscles and stuff. My scheduled c section were easier on me then my emergency one.
My first pregnancy was a C section my other two were vaginal. No complications. My ob actually prefers vbac over repeat c sections.
My daughter was forced to have a c section because she broke her hip as a child. Her second pregnancy we went to a different doctor who allowed her to go vaginal. Zero complications. And then she had a thrid child vaginally as well. Zero complications.
Yes! My daughter did! She gave birth to her eldest via C-section, then her next two kids by natural birth.
My daughter had seven vaginal births after the emergency C-section of her first child! Never any problem.
C section will be safer for you and the baby that’s my opinion .
I’m a labor nurse and you definitely can deliver safely vaginally. You will continously be monitored while laboring. There are many safety precautions that are taken for VBACS
