Has anyone gotten their tubes tied when they werent pregnant? Pros/cons to having your tubes tied in general?

Got mine tied in 2019 after my second child. Only con is heavier periods & painful cramps.
Mine were stapled 2 months after birth of my daughter.
I had mine removed at 40 after my second. Been 2 yrs My periods are horrible camps bleeding is alot 5-7 days 2nd3rd4th days actually have me down not moving much sick feeling toilet every 30 minutes or less. But I would do it again not to have a surprise baby in my 40s
Yes, I did! Dumb move not doing it after my last child was born!
Tied mine when my youngest was 3. No regrets. Ive always had heavier periods and cramps, so I didn’t notice any change with that like others did. 100% would do it again
I got mine removed after my fourth C-section in 2017. Periods are a bit heavier on day one and two then lightens up day three four/five by day six I’m just barely wiping blood the cramps are about the same. my periods typically last about 5/6 days, I didn’t gain weight or have mood changes!!
