Has anybody made changes to their children’s birth certificates under a year old through vital records instead of court? Or if you did it through court what was the process like?

Think any changes to a BC has to go through the Court /lawyer

it honestly depends on the change and why.

I changed a spelling mistake made by the records department while still in the hospital. However if it was your mistake you might have to petition the court. It’s around $300
