Has anyone tried Dupixent?

I was just diagnosed with eczema back in January. I have struggled with it for 20 yrs til I finally broke down and went to a dermatologist. I was put on an ammonium lactate lotion, betamethasone ointment ,and a 10mg zyrtek at night. She said it should clear up within a month, but it hasn’t. She mentioned Dupixent injections as the next course of action if the first treatment didn’t work! I go back in April. Has anyone tried Dupixent? I need the good, bad, and ugly. Or any other treatments or suggestions. It’s so embarrassing. I’m ready to get rid of it, but not at the sacrifice of my tongue falling off or some crazy stuff. Ty!

Eczema can also be triggered by a food allergy or seasonal allergy or cold weather. Two of my kids and myself have it but not extreme. I know certain foods make mine worse, but also certain life style changes can help with it as well. These are the changes we’ve made to help in addtion to the dermatologists help.

  1. Only use Dove soap
  2. Got filtration systems for our shower heads. My fiance also recently did a whole house filtration system for like $150 and it also helped. Next will be a water softener.
  3. Use free and clear laundry detergent
  4. Use Duke Cannon Bloody Knuckles for lotion.
  5. Minimize milk products as those seem to be causing it to be worse.

Havent tried, but just meds only cover symptoms, exzema is caused by allergies, normally certain foods your eating, get a blood test and test for intolerances.

I’ve been on dupixent for almost a year but not for eczema. I use it for chronic nasal polyps. I have noticed that my armpits smell even right out of the shower but that can also be die to thyroid which I just had tested today. Other than than no issues or side effects.

Duixent works however it really really really lowers your immune system

You need gone be a Ginny pig that better then going the dermatologist

My 4 yr old has been on dupixent for about 8 months now. He’s had zero side effects and it has been life changing for him. His skin is about 95% clearer than before the injections.

My daughter had BAD eczema. Like so bad she scratch so hard her body was covered in scratch marks. I would suggest an allergy test I found out my daughter is allergic to milk as soon as I cut that out her diet there has barely been an issue.

Shower with Head and Shoulders, have your Dr give you a prescription for clobetasol. I use aspercrean with lidocaine if it itches

Dupixent works awesome! As long as you stick to it as directed. My skin cleared right up and I don’t even need to use inhalers for asthma be ause it’s helping that too!

I haven’t had Dupixent or know anyone who has. Follow your doctor’s advice.

My second kiddo gets eczema if she has anything with milk in it. The more milk, the worse it gets. She can have the A2 milk though. I’d probably look into food allergies before trying any other meds.

I have used Image Vitamin C Repair Cream. It helps.

I went through a lot of different drugs and they use the cheep ones first. Hang in there eventually one will work

Our six year old daughter sees a dermatologist and the next step will be for her to use dupixent. We had her allergy tested so we could figure out what could be causing it and hers is allergy induced. So far the only thing that has worked for her is Elidel. It’s a cream that we put on her twice a day and it has worked wonders.
She is also on Zyrtec nightly for it.

I see more than $ 120 an hour working from home. I never thought I could do that, but my best friend made over $ 15121 a month and convinced me to give it a try. The possibilities are endless.

I work for a allergy, immunology and specialist. We’ve seen it do wonders on people! It’s great for polyps and asthma as well. I’ve never had a patient have a bad reaction. You do have to make sure you give it time to work. It’s not a over night drug. Hope it works out for you
