Any ladies have good/bad experiences with Slynd birth control? My Dr suggested it but reading reviews online… I’m not so sure that’s the way I want to go!

I am on Slynd and have absolutely no issues.
I’ve been on it for about a year with no problems. Only b.c. I can be on because of my health and it helps with my issues I was having (spotting constantly and excessive cramping).
I can’t take birth control. It messes with me way too much. I had my implanon removed after 5 years of using it due to the side effects. Now I just use herbs to induce a period. I make tea or a smoothie a week prior to my expected cycle. It’s worked for me for yearsssss. And it doesn’t harm your chances at future desired pregnancies. Just do your research. I’ll be having my 2nd baby after successfully being a mom to only one child for 12 years lol
I’m on it now at the suggestion of my doctor, and have not experienced any adverse effects.
LOVE it!!! I stopped having periods and mood swings were minimal. I have terrible cramps and awful mood swings on any other form of bc, even different brand progestin only pill
I was on it for other reasons, but it messed up my period. I didn’t have a period for 3 months.
I’m not on it, but was on a different mini pill (Errin) for the last 3 years until a few weeks ago. I had no issues with it, and it’s the only safe option for me given age and medical issues (migraines with auras, I’m a stroke risk on a combo pill). I was breastfeeding when I started it and didn’t have a period until last year (can’t say for sure that it was from one or the other, but I was told the mini pill can stop your periods), the last few months though I’ve had a period every 2 weeks until I stopped taking it. Sadly, a lot of birth control is going to be a trial and error thing; what works well for one person may not work for another due to the side effects. Give it a try, if you don’t like it tell your doctor and see about a different kind.
