Healthy dye free food choices?

We are slowly trying to eat better and eliminate red dye 40 among other terrible ingredients. What are some healthy breakfast options for my picky 4 year old? She doesn’t eat much at breakfast other than a glass of chocolate milk. And what’re some health snack ideas?

Carnation Breakfast Essentials is a nutritional powder that you mix with a cup of skim milk.

Good & Gather brand snacks and Annie’s are some good snacks options.

Aldi’s is always my go to for dye free foods! Peanut butter crackers, nutragrain bars, fruit fruit fruit, fruit leathers, homemade gummies, veggie straws or veggie chips

Mini waffles or cut up regular sized ones (frozen or homemade) with whipped cream and fresh fruit, silver dollar pancakes (frozen or homemade). I use 1/2 to 1 cup buckwheat flour with the rest Bisquick for waffles and pancakes. Or double the liquid and make crepes instead.

Oatmeal with fresh fruit, nuts, chocolate chips, coconut, granola and/or honey.

Creamed chipped beef on toast or croutons? OK, I was a weird child.

BelVita bars or something similar.

Non-breakfast foods. Hot soup, cheese and bread, dinner items, sandwiches, etc. Lots of protein to start the day.

…so everyone suggests bleached flour/sugar
