How can I get myself to stop emotionally eating?

Does anyone have any tips or tricks to stop emotionally eating. I lost my mom unexpectedly, I’m grieving, and have a lot of stress in my life and I’ve found myself starting to form bad habits with food. I do have a therapist to talk about my stresses but I’m wondering if anyone has experience and things that may have worked. I don’t want to use food as a crutch, but it’s really my only vice in life.

I got put on topamax and it curves my emotional eating like a mfer. Also helps with migraines, anxiety and depression.
