1– treat cat
2-If you have carpet that’s the problem and where they are. You’re gonna spend a little bit of money. Borax powder. Sprinkle on carpet. Leave it for 12-24 hours vacuum several times. Repeat.

This is tried and true I got rid of a flea infestation in a large 5th wheel camper.

Don’t waste money on bombs or any other sprays they are garbage. Trust me.

We got infested after a friend gave us a bag of hand-me-downs. Unbeknownst to us, their ferrets had been sleeping in the bag and it was infested with fleas. We fought for a couple months trying carpets / furniture treatments along with animal treatments. We finally gave up and vacated for a full day while we set off flea bombs. It was the only thing that finally got it under control.

Be careful to use chemical stuff like Borax. Cats are allergic to lots of chemicals. I use salt. Sprinkle it on Carpet. Leave it for about two days then vacuum it up. Also stores sell sprays for fleas. Just read the label and make sure it’s not poisonous for the cat. The wrong spray can cause seizures and the cat will have a painful death

U need to set off bombs thats bout only way u will get rid of them.

Treat the animals first, give them a good bath with some flea shampoo or dawn dish soap (I has to be scrubbed in and sit for 5-10 minutes) then buy some flea treatment. It just goes on the back of their neck. Then get some carpet powder, cover the carpet and let it sit for awhile then vacuum them up every single day for a couple weeks -it’s repetitive but it takes awhile for all the eggs to hatch. Eventually it gets better, household bombs and poisons were less than helpful in my opinion.

Treat the animals. Get the spray. And finally the thing I avoided that helped the absolute most was seresto flea collars. Well worth the money, and that’s coming from someone who avoided them bc of their pricetag.

You will need to go to the vet and get flea
Meds to treat your cat

Diametacous earth and Frontline

I also recommend diametacous earth, dawn dish soap bath for the cat, and flea medicine, if you have carpet sprinkle that diametacous earth on the carpet leave it sitting for a couple mins and vacuum it up, do not do bug bombs because I’ve seen where someone got poisoned from using one of those!! Also get small lamps and get a bowl of dish soap water, point the light at the bowl and a lot of them will jump in that way!!!

Treat the animals. Diametacous earth. Leave it sitting for at least 48 hours, vacuum, wash beddings. Repeat as much as needed. Carpets, furniture and beds tend to be hot spots.

Baking soda, all over the floors/ rugs.leave it for a day or so and then vacuum it up. It kills the fleas when they try to eat it. Best way with out spending lots of money

Go to Amazon and look up electric flea traps! Obviously treat the cat first but I found these work amazingly and quickly

I Used Loads of flea bombs. flea the Cat as well. GoodLuck it’s gonna take awhile before they are all gone I spent so MUCH money on getting rid of them Many years ago
