Does anyone have any tips on how to help a 3rd grader who struggles with reading, pass the iread exam in the spring? He’s worked way too hard this year just to be held back because of this one state test!

Find a phonics based program. Join science of reading groups on FB for ideas.
Try leap reader it reads you the story. There is different books and grade levels. It has different settings as well. You put the pen on the word itll tell you the word. If you put it on a letter it will tell you the letter and so forth. It worked wonders for my oldest son. Maybe after just a month he was reading 3 grades ahead. Good luck.
