let’s talk contacts!! i’m really wanting to learn how to wear them… do you guys believe it’s possible for someone to learn how to use them ?? i’m afraid i won’t ever learn but i’m tired of using glasses all the time i do have an appointment set up for next month to try and see if they will be a good fit for me. i’m also 20 if that makes may differences
The first week is rough. But be patient and after you are used to it. They are great.
It takes patience. Your natural reflex is to close your eyes when something is near them, so it takes repetition to get used to it. The first few weeks will be frustrating but keep trying. It gets easier if you’re persistent.
First you need patience. I won’t lie it will be a struggle for a couple days until you learn to put in and out. I have wore contacts for 30 years.
If I learned, you surely can.
Patience, practice. It’s really not hard, getting them in was easy for me, it was getting them out that I had trouble with. When I first got mine my eye doctor actually had me go through a little “class” to teach me
It took me 2hrs at the doctors office to work up the nerve to put them in the first time. Luckily they were very patient with me! I was in high school and wore them for 20yrs before I finally did the laser eye surgery. Contacts are seriously so much easier and once you get used to it, it’ll be a breeze!
You will get used to them and you can ask the doctor to show you how to put them in easily
Really weird but I can put mine in in seconds BUT just can’t keep my eyes open when eye doctor even gets near them! Trust yourself!
Your optometrist can teach you. I had a class and then practiced putting them in and taking them out.
