what do you do for your kids birthdays when you do not live enar familyor friends? I want to make it special but i feel like its just weird without a big party…advice?

I took my kids to great wolf lodge for their birthdays and they LOVED it, I think it’s way more worth it to spend the one on one time and enjoy yourselves then throwing a party

How old is your child ?
If school age
Invite class mates
Over for a sasauge sizzle
Or a movie and munchy day or night
We always let the kids decide where to go and we go there for the day or whatever they want to do. Not only are you celebrating there birthdays but your also getting quality time with them as a family. We would have parties and waste so much money because people wouldn’t show up. I get it stuff happens, so we decided to do it this way and it has stuck!
I had one year that not even a single friend could attend his birthday party so we had to think on our toes. We ended up taking them on a long weekend to Nickelodeon Universe (indoor water park and amusement park. We don’t regret it at all he had such a great time didn’t even acre that he didn’t have a normal party
