Is there such thing as a drug you can take (besides birth control) to skip or postpone a period. We are going to mexico on vacation and I’m supposed to get my period the day we leave !!! This is the first vacation ever and i really don’t want to be bloated and crampy the whole time

I always plan vacations around my period.
Ibuprofen will shorten it
Ginger beer will work if you plenty of time in advance will basically move it up.
Take gas x for the bloating .
800mgs of ibuprofen 3x a day
Any meds you take will contain some form of birth control…
I’d take a water pill called diurex, it’d take all pain away, I’d feel up, and it lessened symptoms and length of the period. I even took it for hangovers. it’s a water pill, so he sure to have plenty of water
If your on the pill skip that week of pill start new pak

I saw somewhere that Tylenol may help to delay it. But it was information from tic tok so do with it what you will
Midol and Pamprin used to delay mine if I started taking it like 2 days before it would start. Ibuprofen too.
Instead of taking the sugar pills for the week of your period you can just continue to take your birth control. I would consult your doctor, but I’ve definitely done this before for the same reason as you. It doesn’t always work 100% though. You may still have some bloating and spotting.

Ask your OB/GYN if they’ll prescribe it! I take it…
If you’re dr is willing, ask for them to prescribe high dose of ibuprofen. Start it the day before or when you have the first symptoms, it should prevent it or make it very short.
Go to your doctor they can prescribed you something. I did that for my daughter once when she had a school trip.

When I was on the pill and wanted to skip my period I wouldn’t take the inactive pills and go right to the next pack and that always worked. If you’re not on the pill idk

There is medication you can take to delay period . Ask your gp or gp online and chat with the pharmacy at boots they ask couple questions then post them out to youbx
