Just do it kind of slowly and definitely pump for a bit. It will be for both of your benefit. I would suggest pumping and using the bottle first, and then switching to formula.

I mixed both like 10/90, 20/80, and so on, slowly increasing formula. I pumped exclusively so it was easier.

I just started off by switching throughout the day one feed was breast then the next one was formula

Pump… and put in a bag to freeze , thaw when needed put in a bottle and she will be happy.

Can you pump? I pumped while my daughter was in the nicu for months when I wasn’t there with her.

First use only breast milk in the bottle once she is use to drinking out of the bottle that slowing start adding a little bit of formula after a week a little more .this way they get use to the taste change gradually instead of all at once and it’s much easier for their stomach and digestive system to get use to the change

What formula are you trying?

As a mom who’s transitioning now. My baby is 11 mnths and to be honest she’s gonna cry and scream. So far 5 days strong the night time is thr worse. But I do find it easier in the day bc she eats baby food/table food during the day. When she reaches for the boob I offer the bottle or sippy cup

You need to ease into it. Maybe pump some milk and add a tiny bit of formula to it. You could switch off one feeding breast then next formula and so on. You could also just pump whenever you are at school.

Pump and use a sippy cup may have better results

Why not try pumping? If not maybe it the type of formula you’re trying to feed her. Try a different brand.

Pump as much as you can, try to increase your supply to pump and save some for daycare. Pump while in school.

You have to mix breast mix and formula to get her to want formula
I had to do it with my son

The only thing that worked for me was the evenflo bottles, giving it to him sideways, started with fresh breastfeeding milk, then slowly added formula. Yes he did cry, but I never let him cry it out I was with him the entire time. It was bad for 2 days, by the third day he was good. But it wook 2 full weeks for him to take the bottle with anyone. Is been 1 month and he is doesnt take enough oz of formula as he should but he is getting there. Oh the other thing the helped was putting cartoons while trying to give him the bottle. Lots of love, contact naps, and talking to him. Is worth it!

Talk to your pediatrician and try pumping and mixing formula with breastmilk.

Try half Brest milk. Half formula and slowly replace the Brest milk with formula.

So google search lactation consultant near you. Usually the hospital has one on staff. I wasn’t charged for phone consultations. The baby knows you have the breast she wants right there. She will definitely take bottle better for daycare when you aren’t there. Consider pumping to give her the milk she is used to. Most hospital pharmacies rent medical grade breast pumps. That is your best pump to spend money on. You can pump both breasts at the same time to take less time. Gradually mix formula until she is fully on the formula . Best of luck as you continue onward and upward momma. Hugs and love

Enfamil enspire it contains lactoferrin which is in breaskmilk and colostrum also try a bottle similar to breast!

Mix formula with breastmilk, a small amount and then increase to more and more formula. Eventually the baby will get used to it.

In my expirence EBF babies don’t take bottles from mom. My daughter took a few bottles from her father. I had to leave the house. I swear she’d smell me in another room . She wouldn’t take the bottle even with breast milk. Eventually even leaving didn’t help. She’d scream her head off for an hour, refusing the bottle.

I would suggest pumping (if you haven’t).
Then do a slow transition with mixing breast milk and formula.
Start by doing like 75% breast milk and 25% formula for a week or two.
Then 50 and 50
Then 25 and 75
