hey mamas, at what age do we start teaching our girls better hygiene? my 7 year old is getting a little smelly and I feel like she’s too young for deodorant but how can I teach her that being clean is important. she still takes bathes and i want to introduce her to showers as well because im tired of leaning over and scrubbing her head lol. beginner stuff please! thank you!
Deodorant is not an age thing, let her try it there a book by American girl that gear for those talks. You she be able to find it at a library or book store.
My son had to start wearing deodorant at 5. There is no set age at when a child needs deodorant.
Take her to buy some nice smelling soaps just for her …also some roll on deodorants xxx
She can use deodorant. My grandsons used it very early cuz their “papa” and Dad did. Just one or 2 swipes or sprays. Nothing too strong.
Honestly start deodorant now if your going to do hygiene things we found it so much easier if we introduced these kinds of things before needed so they had time to adjust and build it into there routine by the time it was a need
I started using that kid deo when I was about her age. It’s okay for her to! I would do aluminum free just because she’s so young.
My daughter has been wearing deodorant for a few years now, she’s 8! Look into deodorant for kids! I still wash her hair, but I have her wash her body! I tried to let her wash her own hair once, but she matted it up somehow, and that was a process to fix!
She absolutely can use deodorant. Unfortunately there’s not much to prevent odors without decoder. They make aluminum free deodorant. Trust me. My kids use aluminum free which is better than them smelling and everyone smelling the BO.
I used essential oils after a bath or shower. It’s real scents you can dilute in a spray bottle from dollar section. (It’s her own perfume you made special just for her!).
