Idk if I lived in a shady neighborhood I wouldn’t let my kids wander around alone to begin with…esp if they are still not old enough to know better
Engage with your child… take him to places he can treasure hunt… a park… a trail… etc. Clearly your son is adventurous and curious of the world. My son does this… if its something we can wash and clean… I will… and allow him to play pretend with it.
