I'm considering leaving my husbands home bc this living situation is awful but my credit isn't good, thanks to him. What can I do? I don't have time to fix the credit.

You can try asking places if you can pay an extra deposit.

Call around to local churches to help with deposit to get you into a place, get a job if you don’t have one and in the mean time get on a subsidized housing list just for back up.
Uh, you leave, then you rebuild your credit. Your credit is probably the worst excuse you can use to not leave someone. SAHM with zero work experience and no money has resources to help them leave so I am sure with your less than perfect credit, you’ll be just fine. Spousal support exists for a reason, you just have to be willing to fill out the paperwork.
