How do you clean your hardwood floor?

Mommas that have hardwood flooring through the house. What do y’all prefer to go over it with daily? We just ripped up the carpet and put flooring down I want something that I can go over it daily if needed instead of having to make a whole bucket of mop water everyday. TIA!

Swifter wet jet… I also have an awesome steam cleaner that I got off Walmart for pretty cheap.

I use a swiffer hard wood for everyday quick cleans mop and bucket once a week

I use a swiffer daily bc I have kids and a dog lol. Then a bissel spinwave or the o’cedar mop once a week. The big mop just depends on my energy level (pots).

Check the handout with your flooring. Some flooring can’t have swiffer wet hey and other cleaners. It really depends on your flooring. Although if it’s true hardwood flooring and not the laminate kind to look like hardwood flooring, it would depend on the finish. Our cedar flooring we could pretty much anything but our luxury waterproof planks. Swifter wet jets and other mentioned products were a no no. Probably would not have chosen that flooring had I realized it.

I have a small Shark vacuum ( it looks like an old time carpet sweeper) it’s battery operated. It works on all floor types.

I have a tineco. Vacuums and mops at the same time lol

Sweep and swifter. Maid comes to do washing with damp mop.

Never a mop bucket…Mop buckets put dirty water back onto your floors. Get a machine washable mop(head) use hot water only( most chemicals arent meant for hardwood) . Rinse and repeat. Machine wash mop head after every use.A little time consuming but your floors will actually be clean. Spot clean daily with a microfiber towel if necessary.

I’ve found that a steam mop works best. Just be sure to use distilled water, not tap.

I use an Ecloth mop head that uses just water and is antibacterial. It is essentially just like a swiffer. You can use it with plain water or I use vinegar water with mine for a extra clean and fresh smell

I have hard wood floors. I use a cleaner that is for hardwood floors. It will say it on the bottle hardwood floors. It seems to clean my floors.

I don’t mop daily, only once a week. I do however use my roomba every day to vacuum all the junk up, mine will also mop.

Mop with a swiffer and then go behind it with a dry cloth. Getting up the extra water will extend the life of ur floors. Once a week use olive oil or wood oil on the floors to help maintain

I clean for a living. If you want something dIly I would just suggest a DRY microfiber mop. Once a week I would suggest Bona. Don’t make it sopping wet.

I love my steam mop! We have hardwood throughout and 2 small kids and pets and it’s so quick and easy to cleanup all sorts of messes! And attachments to do apolstry and curtains ect to haha
