How do you get sharpie off the walls?

Any and all tips and tricks for getting old sharpie off the walls?!?!

Hairspray takes it off of fabric, it may work for walls as well.

We use the shower spray from Dollar General

Toothpaste with dawn dish soap and baking soda

Magic eraser is your bestest friend

Try vinegar with magic clean eraser.

Fingernail polish remover

Try drawing over it with a whiteboard erasable marker and then erasing it. That works on the boards when my son used sharpies but accident…it’s worth a try?

Handsanitizer or rubbing alcohol. At work we use sanitizing wipes they are like a high % of alcohol. I work with infants and Toddlers.

Put some alcohol in a spray bottles works like a freaking charm

Get a dry eraser marker and go over it and wipe off

I used a magic eraser on the permanent marker that my son put on my door it came off

Go over it with dry erase markers then wipe off

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser or chlorox wipes. The wipes you’ll have to really scrub though. Drawing over it with a dry erase marker may work as well

Gumption or nail polish remover

I used deet bug spray once got the sharpie off the wall and didn’t have issues with mosquitos in the bedroom :woman_shrugging:

If it’s flat paint… I used bleach spray and magic eraser…have a small container of water to rinse… nail polish remover and sanitizer will ruin the walls and take the pain off if u have flat paint…
