How do you get through postpartum?

Any mamas dealt with ppd, how did you get thru it? I’m struggling really bad and it’s like I’m trying to cry out for help but nothing comes out … sucks being only 25 and dealing with it , I’m so young and I feel like I should be happy and enjoying life but I’m actually drowning and struggling everyday, and I love my kids so much but it’s such a battle …

The hospital I had my daughter at had post partum mommy meets where you could go and talk to a nurse and other moms and learn you weren’t alone. This helped me a lot. An anti depressant helps a lot to. Don’t be afraid to ask for help hun

Honestly, for me it was just time. I was 32 with my second and so disconnected with everything. It took me over year to feel “normal” again. I was just simply going through the motions for that year. I wish I would have gotten help, but I didn’t and that’s on me.

Get meds & therapy STAT! Start with your obstetrician. You don’t have to suffer like this.

Anti depressants changed my life. Seek help, you won’t regret it

Go easy on yourself for starters this is a deperally feeling it’s doesn’t last forever go have a little chat with your doctor and be patient with those jumpy hormones thay do and will settle down kk
