Lol apparently this is the only photo I have of it, but I stained a ladder and wrapped lights around and I use tiny nails to hang the stockings on it and it sits nicely in the corner :slightly_smiling_face:

I have done this the last few years

There are peel-and-stick tabs that are totally removable without damaging paint…and hooks with that kind of material for mounting on walls, for example, in a rented home. I’d buy tag board (thin poster board), DRAW a fireplace, stick the hooks to the poster, then stick the poster on any wall space that can be made large enough. Then, you’ll be able to hang the stockings, one from each hook…and peel the whole thing off, after the holidays. You can use the same one, next year, if you replace the adhesives on the back.

I have a stocking tree that holds six.

Command hooks on the wall. Depending on how much you plan on putting in them you may need to get the more heavy duty command strips.

I have never hung them. For the same reason as you. I just put them off to the side untill Christmas eve, and then fill them and put them on the couch or chairs in the living room.

By the doors bedroom or front or back

I bought hooks that fit over a door and hang ours that way

I hang mine on the wall and Santa fills gift bags and leaves them by the tree

We have a mantle ove the fireplace, so we have stocking hangers and use those until Santa comes and he leaves them along the floor in front the fireplace. Sometimes we use our tall bookshelf.

Before I had a fireplace I lined them up in front of our entertainment center

I use command hooks and put them on the wall above my couch.

We hang them up on the wall by the wreath and they’re magically down and full on Christmas morning.

I hang my sons on his door knob lol when I was a kid my mom just laid ours on the floor in front of our door lol

Mine will be hung on banister, but before that I hung them on the back of the front door with command strips

I put them on my stairs railings go up. Pretty ribbons to hold them on

We used to drape ours over the back of the couch. We had really big ones that my mom crocheted for us. Our boys loved them because you can cram a lot in them. Then Christmas morning they would be propped up on the couch because they were so heavy.

Over each door, on the tree itself until the morning when it gets set on the ground with the rest of the gifts, or around a door frame

I drew a pic of a fake fireplace with construction paper and put it on the wall. Then hung the stocking over it…it looked really nice and real…

I used velcro stuck ours on door frame by tree

I use command hooks an put on living room wall. I use the stockings ad part decoration till I fill

We always hun them over our couch or love seat

I always made my own with boxes, packing tape and construction paper and chalk then I’d add cotton balls for snow. Kids loved it.

I have these stocking hangers

I’ve hung them on the wall before we had a fire place and then also off pur bar

Try a coat rack if you have one, depending on what it’s made of you could add more hooks.

We hang around tree with 3M removable hooks. Works great and they bear a lot of weight.

We’ve bought the little stocking hangers and put them on the tv stand

On an antique ladder leaning against the wall. You van string the ladder with mini lights and garlands of berries,

We have a cute little stand that has hooks you hang them on. I was trying to find a pic but couldn’t lol

We hung ours on the wall by where our Christmas tree is going! I used command hooks.

One year I pinned them to the curtain because we didn’t have anyplace to put them

There are cute freestanding Christmas stocking stands if you google

I hang them on the staircase banister

Make a DIY fireplace with dollar store products

Kirklands has them on sale right now- we love ours

We hang them between the two rooms up on the beam

I saw this for those without a fireplace! They would look cute hanging them on here
