Can you show me your toy organization for your kids? My kids toy box has bit the dust and I cant decide whats best and functional! Thanks
I have something similar to this, the exact one is no longer listed because I bought it 3 years ago but they have more that are bigger/smaller. It’s a good system for us. I’m able to organize my 4 years cars into one bin, dinosaurs and dino stuff in another, sensory toys in their own bin, etc. Books line the top shelf and all his big trucks and cars take up the side shelves. I have canvas bins for stuffed animals that sit at the end of his bed.
We did something like this. It comes in a lot of colors too.
We have the cloth bins in the wooden cubes. Each bin in labeled with what is in it. We used to use pictures until they could read
Labeled (pix or words or both) small bins are easiest. Teach them they have to put everything back in the one bin before they get another one out, or play a clean up song at the end of playtime as you help your child sort and put back all the toys before the end of the song. You can stop helping once they learn the drill.
Also, hide/put some toys away and rotate them out every few weeks, keeping in those they play with most. Fewer toys to spread out and put away and keeps kid from getting bored, and keeps the ones that are put away in better condition.
