So I have a question for all the moms the last day of my first period was August 31 until September 5 I was supposed to start my period Friday. That was my first day of my missed and I tested positive for pregnancy, it says I ovulated on my app around October 12, but the doctor saying due to my first day on my last period. I would be eight weeks, but my app is saying I would be four, but if I was eight weeks when I have tested positive the past week that I’ve been testing?

You go from date of last period but you’re not going to know for sure until you have a dating ultrasound

If your last day of cycle was September 5th, then you would have ovulated roughly September 14th. That would be 8 weeks. If your last day of cycle was October 5th then you would have ovulated roughly October 14th making it 4 weeks. There’s a whole month unaccounted for in your dates.
If you haven’t had a period or any bleeding at all since Aug 31st, then you’re likely around 8 weeks pregnant
