C-section momma’s–
I just had my son May 9th, which makes him my 4th Cesarean , seeing how big he’s getting is breaking my heart. I thought I’d be done having babies after him. Not wanting anymore anytime soon, I’m thinking 5+ years from now but my actual question is who has had 5 or more C-sections, was it scary? Were there complications? Did you heal ok? Was it harder? Any regrets?
I’m trying to decide what I want versus what’s best for me but it’s so hard when Im literally my own supporter Its kind of difficult debating with myself. So please share your experiences! Thank you

I’m also curious about this. I’ve had 2 but I’ve always heard they’ll let you do 3.

I’ve had 4 c sections. My doctor didn’t say I couldn’t have another if I wanted more but she did say there was alot of scar tissue and a possibility it could cause complications. I ended up having a tubal and ablation to prevent future pregnancies.
I’ve had 2 my son was born may 1st 2019 and was told I cant have no more cuz of preclampse and me and the next child probably won’t make it next time healing this time was harder than my first and I’m still healing and I’m in pain still when pain with first only lasted 2 weeks

If you do become pregnant again the doctors don’t really have a choice ya know what I mean? And from what I’ve been reading finding a doctor who will do a VBAC is tough so the baby has to come out somehow

I just had my second in March and Im on the same boat of not being too sure on having another in like 5-6 years. My labor with my second was horrible since I have back issues and I had back labor. Plus the healing from it took a toll on me mentally. I started to think to myself while I was in labor that I never wanted to do it again. I was done. But u also want a baby girl as I have two boys.

OP:
You ladies made me feel so much better. My first born was emergency C-section and ever since that I’ve had no choice but to have C-sections , with my most previous one my doctor said he removed a lot of scarring, and my 2nd & 3rd C-sections had completely separate incision lines from my first so he made them all into one. Yesterday at my 1 week check-up he told me he hopes I don’t plan on having more because of the risk of my uterus rupturing & asked if I wanted to come back in 4 weeks for a tubal? Honestly he had me terrified but I really don’t want to heal only to go back to have my tubes tied. I’ll try every single birth control from the implant, and condoms and the pull out method all at the same time , I’m truthfully not ready to give up. I’ve never had good experiences in the hospital, I’ve always been alone for the most part. I really would like to have another chance at having a normal happy pregnancy , but like I said, years from now. BTW I’m 25 years old, not sure if that makes much of a difference.

Tubal is an outpatient procedure. They knock you out. You have a couple small (like maybe and inch) incisions in your lower abdomen. Not a big deal, especially after c section recovery! If youve had heavy and painful periods Id suggest an ablation to go along with it. Best thing I ever did

In fixing to have my 5th csection and I know the risks are a lot more than ever, you can have more bleeding than Normal with all the scar tissue you already have
