How is it having kids 10 years apart?

As long as you don’t force your oldest to take on the responsibilities of a parent, it should be fine.

I’m 9 years apart from my brother and while we have a good relationship now, when he was I kid… yes I loved him but at the same time, he was a burden and I resented my mother for taking away my youth so that I could pretty much raise him.

My siblings are 13, 12 and 10 years older than me. The oldest got married while I was in kindergarten.

I have age gap kids. I have a 14 and 12 year old then a 2 and 5 year old. The older kids with the younger ones is adorable. The little ones look up to the older ones like they’re a second parent sometimes. It’s actually really sweet. They’re all so close.

I’m 13 yours older then my brother and my husband is 21 years old then his brother the is nothing wrong with and age gap

Me! My only child was so upset when I told him I was pregnant. He cried. We both cried, honestly I wasn’t that excited about it. But all that changed once my second son was born. He loves his (now 2 of them) baby brothers so much and has such a great relationship with them.

It will be a blessing for all

There is an 8 year gap between mine and thry have always been really close she loved helping with the baby stuff and they didn’t really argue as their toys tastes and interests were so far apart so nothing to fight over

My sister and I are 12 years apart and I wouldn’t want it any other way💜

My youngest sister and I are 15 years apart. I dont have a close relationship with her because I was already out of the house when she was born. My other sister and I are 5 years apart and we get along well. I think she will do just fine. Plus you’ll have more help that way too.

There is 17 years between my oldest and youngest 10 years between 3rd child and 4th child oldest 3 absolutely adore the baby of the house have her spoilt they love her

Me and my brother are nine years apart. My Mom did a good job of keeping him busy when he was a baby and trying to get into my stuff. BUT we are very close and know we can call each other any time. I was like a little Mom and helped out. My only thing is, make sure to give a lot of attention to your older one. Good luck love :heart::heart::heart:

I have a 15, 9, 6 (almost 7) and a 4 yr old… My oldest and youngest get along great! They are a big help at times! I have all boys so of course they fight and have their moments but for the most part its all good! She should be happy about the baby! I am 12 years older than my lil sister and at first i was jealous of not being the baby no more but once I saw her i loved her! We are the closest of all us sisters (4 of us too) it’ll work out! Don’t worry!!

17, 10 and 1… they all love each other and they all fight! :v:

My sister is 12 years younger than me (10 and 22 now). I can’t speak for every kid, but I had so much fun helping my mom with her as a baby. The only time it was really tough was when she was like 2-6 because I had to babysit her a lot and she was crazy lol. Now we have an amazing bond, and although we still argue at times, we always have each other’s backs. She’s also the best little auntie to my 1 year old.

I have siblings that are much younger than me, one was born when I was 11. I loved taking care of her and playing with her, it was a really fun part of my childhood. I did end up resenting having to babysit all the time and it was difficult to have my friends over because of young kids in the house needing to sleep more.

I have 6 years appart from my first sister, 9 years appart from my brother and 13 years appart from my youngest sister. Nothing wrong with it and i always loved taking care of the younger ones.

I have a 17 year old, 14 year old and a 4 year old the 17 and 14 year old have a better bond than the 17 and 14 year olds do.

Mine are close too they changed her diaper fed her my son helped her learn to walk it’s great

Family walks to the park are great fun and alot of talking that’s my best advice if I think of anymore I’ll post congratulations!

Live in babysitter! My kids are 18, 8 and 3. It works great

I do. When we told my son he just asked if it would interfere with his hockey schedule :rofl:, we told him nope, and kept that promise - his sister is now 3 almost 4 and he is 13 almost 14 they are best buds - and she is his BIGGEST hockey fan!

My oldest is 21 years older than my youngest lol. I have a sister who is 11 years younger. When we were young I took care of her and now we’re best friends!

I have 5 and my eldest is 20 my youngest is 1. I don’t get a look in with the baby, people presume she hers :woman_shrugging:t2::joy::smiling_face_with_three_hearts::heart:
