How is recovery after hernia surgery?

Any of you have had like a hernia surgery? If so how was your recovery process?

Had a double hernia repair Was not recommended doing both at once but I did Pretty sore for a couple weeks

ive had umbilical and abdominal hernia repair not bad at all

I had surgery Jan 17 on 2 hernias plus my hysterectomy for fibroid removal. I was out 9 weeks and needed every bit of it. The hernias were HORRIBLE.

very easy. felt like restrictions could have been lifted at 4 weeks instead of 8
